Окончил с отличием Московский Государственный Университет им. Ломоносова, экономический факультет и аспирантуру. С 1996 года - кандидат экономических наук, в 2015 году получил степень доктора экономических наук.
Профессиональный опыт
В июле 2005 года начал работу в RCB Bank Ltd, где в настоящее время является генеральным директором и членом Совета директоров. С 2008 года - Президент Ассоциации иностранных банков Кипра. С 2011 года - член координационного комитета по международным вопросам Европейской банковской федерации.
До начала работы в RCB Bank Ltd занимал руководящие должности в ведущих финансовых компаниях России.

Education
He graduated with honors from the M.V. Lomonosov Moscow State University obtaining a degree in Economics of Foreign Countries and International Relations. In 1996, he obtained a PhD in Economics from the M.V. Lomonosov Moscow State University and in 2015, a doctorate in Economics from the same university.
Professional experience
In 2005, he joined RCB Bank Ltd and he is currently a member of its Board of directors and the Bank’s Chief Executive Officer. In 2008 he was elected President of the Association of International Banks in Cyprus, a position he holds until today. In 2011, he became a member of the International Affairs Steering Group of the European Banking Federation (EBF).
Before joining RCB Bank Ltd, Dr. Zimarin held various senior and top management positions in leading financial companies of Russia.
