Окончил Тюменский государственный университет.

Профессиональный опыт

Занимал должность директора департамента по науке и инновациям Ямало-Ненецкого автономного округа.
Развивал региональный сектор научных изысканий, полевых исследовательских работ, международного гуманитарного сотрудничества и изучения Арктики.
Участвовал в «генеральной очистке» острова Белый (ЯНАО) и дальнейшем формировании на восстановленной территории международного центра изучения Арктики.
Инициатор и куратор серии экологических экспедиций и проектов с участием российских и иностранных ученых и волонтеров, проводимых в арктических условиях в зоне потенциального и действующего промышленного освоения.
В настоящее время является директором департамента государственной политики и регулирования в сфере развития особо охраняемых природных территорий (ООПТ) и Байкальской природной территории Минприроды России.
